Miss Vanessa Grehl was born and raised on a farm near Hitchcock, South Dakota. She attended James Valley Christian School from Kindergarten through 2nd grade; she was homeschooled from 3rd grade through high school. Later Vanessa attended Faith Baptist Bible College where she earned her degree in Elementary Education. In her free time, Vanessa likes to read, scrapbook, and hang with family and friends.

Vanessa’s passion for teaching started with teaching at VBS and working at church camps. Her life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. It is Miss Grehl’s goal to help each one of her students reach his/her highest potential not only academically but most importantly spiritually. She wants each class she teaches to leave knowing more than they knew when they first entered her classroom, along with a passion for serving Christ.

Vanessa has never been on a mission trip but would love to go on one. She is very open to going wherever God leads her.
