The community benefits when the entire school and staff take off to get down and dirty in order to clean the streets of Mitchell. Donations are made to the students for the miles that are cleaned. Clean town, clean hearts, as the students learn to respect the town they live in.

Students at Mitchell Christian School participated in a fundraiser that also served the community. The school, in conjunction with Citywide Cleanup Week in Mitchell, cleaned up trash throughout the streets of Mitchell, covering over 30 miles in the process. Between three hundred fifty and four hundred bags of trash were collected. The school was able to raise over $10,000 in pledges as part of the project, and students gained the experience of serving their community in the process.
