Mission Trip History

MCS Seniors have been taking trips to various parts of the world for over ten years now. Missions is an essential part of MCS and several past graduates have majored and minored or made missions a central part of their lives.

1997 - San Vicente, Mexico - Worked at the Rancho Santa Fe

1998 - Minneapolis, Minnesota - Students helped an inner-city church

1999 - California

2000 - Chicago, Illinois - Students were involved with inner-city missions projects

2001 - Minneapolis, Minnesota - Students were involved with inner-city work

2002 - Dominican Republic - Students ministered to children in the villages

2003 - Jamaica - Students worked at the Teamwork Center and Blossom Garden orphanage

2004 - Bahamas - Students worked at a children's home, did work projects, and did school outreach presentations

2005 - Aruba - Students ministered to children through a Bible school

2006 - Pass Christian, Mississippi - Helped with the Hurricane Katrina relief project

2007 - Belize - Students ministered to children in an orphanage, the elderly in a nursing home, spending time with the locals playing basketball, working on a building project and ministering to the local children through a Bible school

2008 - Los Angeles (Senior Trip) - Students worked with the Dream Center ministering to the needy and homeless
2008 - Brazil (Junior Trip) - Students worked at a Christian preschool doing Bible school and also helping the school finish a construction project by painting murals and cleaning

2009 - Jamaica
