Mrs. Wipf was born and raised in Paynesville, Minnesota. All of her schooling was done in Paynesville. Mrs. Wipf's father works for Firestone and her mother works at a hospital. She has two sisters, one brother, and two nieces. When she is not busy at the school, Mrs. Wipf enjoys reading, playing and watching sports, taking pictures, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Wipf attended college at Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota. She has a double Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies and Elementary Education and a coaching certificate in volleyball. Mrs. Wipf says that she discovered her call for teaching while on a mission trip to Mexico. She said, "To have the opportunity to mold and shape the next generation is a great honor. As a child I was looking forward to being a teacher because it would give me the opportunity to boss people around!"
Mrs. Wipf's life verse is Psalm 91:1-2. Her vision for her classroom is that her students stretch their minds and deepen their faith. She wants to see them challenged in all areas of their lives. Mrs. Wipf says that when a class leaves she wants them to have a deeper knowledge of the Bible and a firm foundation of Biblical principles. Her desire is for them to become lifelong learners.
Mrs. Wipf went on a mission trip, as a senior in high school, with her youth group to Monterrey, Mexico. As a senior in college, she went with a group to minister in Romania. She would like her next mission trip to be on an AIDS medical caravan in Africa. Mrs. Wipf says that on both trips her eyes were opened to a very different way of life. She learned to be more grateful with what God has blessed her with and to never take for granted the little things in life. The trip to Romania opened the door for Mrs. Wipf to return there and teach for three years. While there she truly found herself, grew by leaps and bounds, and made lifelong friends.
